We are looking for a creative, strategic, and visual storyteller to take ownership of our brand’s digital presence. This is not just about posting photos; it’s about capturing the energy of our business, driving traffic through strategic promos, and building a community online.

You will work directly with the Executive Team to turn our weekly specials, events, and brand goals into engaging campaigns. Note: This role starts as hourly part-time, but for the right candidate who drives results, the goal is to evolve this into a full-time salaried leadership position.

WHAT YOU’LL DO |
-
Content Creation (Video + Photo): Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality content for Instagram (Reels/Stories), TikTok, and Facebook. You must be comfortable behind the camera capturing food, drinks, atmosphere, and events.
-
Social Media Management: Manage the entire content calendar. You will be responsible for writing captions, scheduling posts in advance, and ensuring a consistent posting cadence.
-
Graphic Marketing: Design eye-catching digital and print assets for promotions (e.g., event flyers, social graphics, email headers) using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
-
Campaign Strategy: Collaborate with the Executive Team to identify upcoming priorities (e.g., "Open House," "Holiday Menu," "New Product Launch") and build a marketing rollout to support them.
-
Community Engagement: Act as the voice of the brand. Monitor DMs, respond to comments, and engage with local influencers/tags to grow our following.
-
Analytics: Track what is working (and what isn’t) and report monthly growth/engagement metrics to the team.

WHO YOU ARE |
-
A Content Native: You understand that "social media" now means video. You are proficient in editing Reels/TikToks (CapCut, InShot, or Premiere Rush).
-
Visual Eye: You have a strong sense of aesthetics and can make a simple photo look high-end.
-
Graphic Design Skills: You can whip up a clean, on-brand flyer or story graphic quickly.
-
Organized: You don't post "on the fly." You plan ahead.
-
Local: You are able to be on-site in Boston/Newton/Watertown/Harvard Square weekly to capture content.

REQUIREMENTS |
-
1–3 years of experience in social media management or content creation.
-
Portfolio of work (Links to TikToks/Reels, photography, or graphic design samples required).
-
Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Sprout, Meta Business Suite).
-
Bonus: Experience in the hospitality, restaurant, or nightlife industry.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE |
-
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour (Based on experience)
-
Schedule: Part-Time (20–30 hours/week) with a flexible hybrid schedule.
-
You manage your editing hours, but must be available on-site weekly for content capture and team meetings (Friday at 9:30am)
-
-
Dining Discounts: Enjoy complimentary doughnuts, coffee, and food while on site.
-
Growth Potential: This role is designed with a clear path to evolve into a Full-Time, Salaried position with full benefits (Health/Dental/HSA) for the right candidate who drives results.
-
Creative Freedom: You will have the budget and autonomy to experiment with new trends, test campaigns, and build a professional portfolio with a high-profile Boston hospitality brand.
-
Paid Sick Time: Accrued in accordance with Massachusetts state law.
-
Paid Vacation Time: Accrued after 1-year of employment for part time employees.
